Buken Onyango is a community organizer, social entrepreneur, and a loving family man from Kenya. A decade of volunteer experience has given Buken the skillset needed to successfully work with youth on diverse community projects. Buken's experience and passion led him to co-found the Maisha Yangu Organization, based in Nairobi, Kenya. The community based organization supports children and youth by creating a safe space for them to access academic and artistic activities provided in the center. Buken believes that in order for communities to thrive, individuals must be willing to play their part towards effecting positive change.
